Maryvale Gala Basket

This year for my donation to the Maryvale Gala Silent Auction I decided to create a “God Is Love” Prayer Basket.

I used a retired stamp set Morning Soft that has a beautiful quote from Mother Teresa, “It is not how much you do, but how much love you put into the doing that matters” and a wonderful Morning Glory flower that I  water coloured and blender penned (is that grammatically correct?). For the Picture Frame and journal I I stamped the front with En Francais in Certainly Celery and the other colours I used are Black Stazon, Regal Rose and Rose Red. Inside and outside I stamped scripture and other quotes from some retired sets and mostly from Trust God (love this set and it is in our main Catalogue). It’s hard to see in the picture but I have a matching pen attached with a beautiful Certainly Celery Ribbon.  I haven’t stamped candles or tiles (coaster) for along time so it was fun to do and I think it turned our really well!

I hope someone enjoys these items for their prayer places and I pray the Maryvale Gala goes well on Saturday evening.
