Last year one of my friends/customers gave birth to a sleeping baby – Victoria. When they left the General Hospital the nurses made them a scrap page with prints of Victoria’s little feet, hands and a lock hair. They framed the page. They also went home with a teddy bear that was donated by another family who had lived the same experience. The family attached a tag memorializing their little one with words of comfort for my friends. Carolina and Bela were very touched by these mementos and wanted to give back so before Victoria’s birthday they invited me and some of their friends and relatives to help create scrap pages and teddy bear tags to give back to the hospital to give out as needed. We made 40 scrap page templates and 13 teddy bear tags. On Victoria’s birthday in July they gave everything to the nurses who were thrilled and I’m sure when other parents are given these keepsakes they will be truly touched. Thank you for inviting me to Victoria’s birthday – I have been blessed!
